Mobility Equipment Hire
For registered users, The Centre, Livingston Mobility Service, located in Car Park 1, provides a range of mobile electric scooters, electric powerchairs and manual wheelchairs which are available to loan to make getting around The Centre that little bit easier for people with disabilities and limited mobility.
Due to COVID-19, the Mobility Service has new operating procedures temporarily in place, in order to adhere to social distancing measures.
Pre-booking is essential and it will be running reduced operating hours, from 10am to 2pm. The service is running seven days a week so it is perfect for both mid week and weekend shopping trips.
There is no hire charge but any donations will be reinvested into the service.
How to book:
- Pre-booking is essential.
- Registered users can reserve their chosen mobility aid by calling The Centre, Livingston Mobility Service on 01506 442 744.
- On the day, a team member will meet you in Car Park 1 at your designated time with the mobility aid that you’ve reserved.
- Please note – users need to be registered to The Centre, Livingston Mobility Service to access mobility aids. Visitors who were previously signed up to the Lothian Shopmobility scheme do need to re-register when registration re-opens in order for their pass to be updated.
