Update: 2nd April

Following advice issued by the Scottish Government, there are a few changes at The Centre from Monday 5th April – below you’ll find some information about the new services you can access in centre and the additional retailers who are looking forward to welcoming you in store.

From Monday 5th April hairdressers and barbers in The Centre can re-open on an appointment-only basis. Click here for a full list of how to contact them and make a booking: http://bit.ly/TheCentreHairdresserUpdate

Click & Collect is permitted for non-essential retail from Monday 5th April. You can find a full list of the retailers offering these services below.

The Scottish Government has recently extended the list of essential retailers, which means that more stores can re-open from Monday 5th April, including those selling homeware or baby equipment.

The following services will be available at The Centre from Monday 5th April. All details below are correct at the time of writing and we will update this list regularly but these may be subject to change at short notice, so please check the individual page listings of retailers regarding the services available, as well as opening times as these may not be the same as usual, to avoid disappointment. These can be found at https://www.thecentrelivingston.com/shop/store-guide/a-z for stores, and at https://www.thecentrelivingston.com/eat/a-z for restaurants and cafes.

The Centre’s standard opening hours apply, however please note these may be subject to change at short notice. Stores will be operating their individual trading hours and their usual trading hours may differ – some may trade longer than the core trading hours. Please check each store’s individual operating hours directly on their website or at www.thecentrelivingston.com before you set off, to avoid disappointment.

The number of customers in the mall throughout the day is monitored by real time footfall counting which takes place via our electronic footfall system – this ensures that we will never exceed our maximum permitted capacity. This does mean that you may have to join a socially distanced queue to enter The Centre and may also have to queue to enter individual stores once inside The Centre.

We ask everyone visiting The Centre at this time for their patience and understanding – we are doing all that we can to ensure that The Centre is a safe place to visit and as such shopping may take longer than you may be used to.

Though restrictions are slowly easing, we ask all our visitors to comply with Stay Local Guidance and only visit us if you live in the local area.

The latest Scottish Government Guidelines, including rules and regulations for Travel and Shopping, can be found at: http://bit.ly/ScottishGovernmentGuidelines

Social distancing measures as well as Scottish Government Guidelines regarding face coverings still apply – please visit http://bit.ly/PublicUseOfFaceCoverings for a full list of exemptions.

We would once again like to take this opportunity to thank our local community for the kindness and support you have shown our staff and retailers.
