The Centre, Livingston, Livingston is managed by Savills (UK) Limited (registered in England with number 2605138) whose registered office is at 33 Margaret Street, London, W1G 0JD.

Centre WiFi

If you use the free WiFi network available in The Centre, Livingston we may collect personal information from you, such as your name, email address and post code in order to log you on to the Wi-Fi network.  At log in stage you will also be offered the opportunity to subscribe to email marketing. At this stage you can either opt in or either choose not to. If you opt in you can withdraw your consent at any time.

Through our WiFi, we may also collect data which will shows us how often, and the length of time in which you have accessed the WiFi service. This will include the recording of the IP address of your device that connects to the WiFi network. To opt out of the collection of your MAC or Internet Protocol (IP) address and location, turn off your device’s Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capabilities. 

The address of your device will be stored for as long as it connects to the internet and will be stored to allow you to reconnect at a later date with ease.

Data Collection:

Data will be collected in a number of ways which are listed below, and we may collect from several of the categories listed below.

1.    Entry: Entry into a competition or promotion which is promoted by The Centre, Livingston.

2.    Feedback: Providing feedback to us through our comments cards or making contact via letter or email.

3.    Research: demographic data such as name, gender, age.

4.    Website usage: Monitoring of usage and log in times.

5.    Purchase: Purchasing a gift card and processing of this data is performed by a third party. Purchasing gift cards online involves submitting your contact details and delivery address. You may also be required to give your details to log ownership of the card. If the card is lost.

6.    Promotional: Photography and filming is carried out during events. We may take photographs on other days also, however photography and film signage stating this is taking place will be displayed throughout The Centre, Livingston. Should you not wish to be filmed please notify one of the team.

7.    Enrolling for an event: We may collect your name and contact details if you wish to participate in an event that is organised at The Centre, Livingston.

8.    Hire/Loan of equipment: You may be asked for personal details in order to hire/loan hire equipment.

9.    Forms: There are numerous miscellaneous forms which you may be required to fill out which will contain your personal details. Examples of these forms are feedback, kiddy car bookings, refund forms.

10. Social media: Depending on your privacy settings and the information that you choose to share we have access to user generated content such as posts, comments, profiles and images.

How do we use the data that we have collected?

We will use this data to send you marketing information through emails. Information will include new store openings, products, special offers and events to enhance your relationship with The Centre, Livingston.

We frequently ask for postcodes during our interactions and communications with customers, we do so to better understand our customers. We may share this data with third parties, removing any information which could be identifiable to a person to assist with our analysis of The Centre, Livingston, and its shoppers.

The data will be used in accordance with any preferences that you have selected, and we will only provide you with email marketing where you have consented. Third Party:

Your information may be shared with third party who perform a business or marketing function for The Centre, Livingston.

Retention:

We will only collect the minimum amount of personal information necessary. If you do not engage with our email marketing for a period of two-years, we will remove you from our marketing database.

Security and CCTV images:

In order to keep our staff, visitors and property safe and secure we will process CCTV images and record footage. Footage is also useful in investigation of an offence and may be requested by a law enforcement agency. CCTV images are also processed to ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.

Please note we may have to share CCTV footage with the Police, law enforcement agencies or our insurers in relation to a claim or legal proceedings.

We use third party service partners to provide security services, but the information recorded through these technologies is held on systems we control.

CCTV Retention:

For CCTV: Generally, this data will not be held for longer than 31 days. Footage will be held longer than this if an incident or suspected incident has occurred. 

Accident and incident reporting:

When an incident occurs at The Centre, Livingston, we are required obtain information and details of the person(s) involved in the incident, including details of any witnesses. The written report that is completed may include CCTV footage, photographic evidence, statements. This report is often held at The Centre, Livingston, however it will be held securely.

The data gathered may also have to be shared with third parties to assist with investigation. Third parties in this instance may be the Police, Government bodies, legal or insurance advisors.

All personal data (CCTV, Witness Statements, Photographs and written reports) relating to the incident is held for six years, unless there are reasons to retain it for longer such as an on Going HSE investigation.

Protection of Data:

We have measures in place to safe guard and minimise the loss of data. We do not keep data longer than necessary and will continuously review security measures in place.

Child Data:

We do not collect data from Children under the age of 13. Data from children under the age of 13 may be collected from parents/guardians with their consent. Kids activities that are carried out in centre or competitions are examples of this. We will not market directly to children.

If you are under 13 and have signed up to receive our newsletter, or marketing update please email enquiries@thecentrelivngtson.com to have your name removed from our list.

Your Rights:

You have the right to opt out of receiving any marketing information which we send you. It is your duty to inform us of changes.

You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal information.

If you wish to withdraw your consent to receive marketing materials, this can be done by emailing enquires@thecentrelivingston.com or by clicking unsubscribe on any marketing emails that we have sent.

If you unsubscribe or withdraw from marketing material, we will not send you any additional marketing material once this has been actioned.
